Our New Name
Seattle’s Progressive Preschool is excited to announce our new name: Open Circle Co-op Preschool. When the school was founded ten years ago, “Seattle’s Progressive Preschool” was intended as a placeholder name. While that placeholder served us well for a decade, the unfortunate acronym overlap with the Seattle Preschool Program necessitates a change. The new name was selected with the help of current and past attendees, and we feel the new name reflects our welcoming values and unique social and environmental justice mission while being memorable and searchable.
